Restoring Faith

Posted on Jul 04 , 2012 in Blog & Ongoing

In the midst of still much devastation, there are many signs of life, hope, and renewal in Ishinomaki, not only physically but also spiritually.

We have had the privilege of being able to partner with Samaritan’s Purse in mudding out (cleaning) and the carpentry restoration of people’s homes in the local area.

And as people’s homes are being restored, many are coming to faith in the Lord through the loving and faithful witness of Samaritan’s Purse staff, local churches, and Christian volunteers from all around the world.

One blessing a group of us witnessed was the dedication and spiritual blessing of the home of Mrs. Toriyama.

The Lord is powerfully moving and we thank all of you for your prayers and the opportunity to serve here.
